DRI Title & Escrow started in the late ’90s providing independent abstracting services to the local market. After a very successful start and establishing good relationships with their customers, the business was inundated with requests for other services. In early 2001, services were expanded to include Current Owner Searches and Deed Reports on a nationwide basis. Later that year the business incorporated as Deed Research Inc., a name that more appropriately reflected the services being provided to their customers.
In June of 2002, Deed Research Inc. became a licensed Title Insurance Agency and started doing business as DRI Title & Escrow. Along with becoming a licensed Title Insurance Agency, DRI Title & Escrow also expanded their services to include the following: Title Insurance, Current Owner Searches, Deed Reports, Credit, Flood Determinations, Closings, Escrow, and Recordation.
From the beginning, DRI Title & Escrow has structured their business model around a core belief that customer service and customized products are the keys to developing long term relationships. It is this model that has assisted DRI in building a loyal client base all while assisting lenders on the improvement of the process between application and funding.
